Raimo`s in Amityville

Last night we got soggy pizza with holes and fell apart. And pepperoni chips with no sesame seeds. Not glazed and flattened. They were as dry and puffy as dry pizza crust. Some were normal made. It was horrible. I was really in the mood. I guess we will take the drive to Mamas from now on. Seems your staff doesn't care.

I'd give ZERO stars if possible. Ordered a pie and a salad at 7:20, told it would be 40 minutes. Called at 8:15 and was told it was on the way and be there in 5 minutes. At 8:35 called and was told 5 minutes. At 8:54 it arrived, cold and the salad incorrect. No apologies either. The worst ever.

Really underrated place. Great food and great prices

First time getting take-out. Quality food, great service and friendly staff. Will definitely be back for a sit down dinner in the restaurant. The chicken marsala us AWESOME !

Food poisoning from the chicken for 4 days ended up in the hospital. I called the place to let them know and I was very nice they could care less! Been going there for 10 years will never go back!

Got 2 hero’s. Veal Parmesan, Meatball Parmesan. Delivered in a very timely fashion and they’re 10 minutes away. Veal was exceptionally tender, more so than most places. Meatballs great flavor and also very tender. Very good sauce, nice portions. My local place has closed and needed to find a new. Home run first shot.

Over priced, small selection, tiny slices, and sauce not included with pinwheels. Waste of time and money. Didnt even taste that good

Great experience here at Raimo’s! The staff was very kind especially the cashier Raymond. I definitely recommend coming here and enjoying what this great place has to offer!

The food wasn't terrible. I just disliked the fact my pizza was floppy, the overpriced dishes, and the fake flowers for decor. I think I'll stick to my local spot Mr G's.

One of the best pizza's around. I drive past at least 3 other pizza shops on my way to Raimo's! Every time i order i know exactly what I'm getting. Very consistent and obviously talented, experienced cooks. I get pies here at least once a week since they opened a few years ago.

I remember when this place was first open and the owner expressed his deep Italian heritage and wanting th e neighborhood to have a true Italian dining experience. This place have a full menu and atmosphere that gives that old world charm dinner at a authentic Italian restaurant. Pizza is amazing!

Food was great and the wait staff was friendly. The bread is so good, calamari was tasty but overcooked so that was a let down. But the specials were perfect! Here's the skirt steak and broccoli rabe

The food is good sometimes, they never give you plates of utensils if you taking out. Philly cheese steak sandwich is made of roasted beef and NOT Rib Eye as they claim; always the chicken on the sandwiches taste like rubber, and always they forget to put dressings on the salads

went yesterday..was disappointed they no longer have wholewheat spaghetti..got it anyways with meat sauce..too much sauce! no where near enough spaghetti!..will make it at home from now on..whole wheat rocks! ps. good, efficient, friendly service..

Ordered take out. Received the wrong drink, which wasn’t a big deal. The garlic knots were very burnt to the point that they were inedible. In contrast, the pizza was undercooked. I’ve ordered from here before and the food was really great. Maybe this was just an off night, but I’m really not sure why anyone would let burnt food leave their restaurant. I’ll try once more.

Normally a big fan but not when They dont cook the pizza

I've been coming here for at least 6 years and I always enjoy dinner here. The pastas are fantastic (and my favorite thing to get). They have a wide variey of other entrees and interesting specials. The portions are huge for the price so we always have leftovers for lunch the next day. The service is great and the dining room is very pretty. We love to come here if it's too hot to cook in the summer, or were just lazy in the winter.

This place is very attractive the actual wood fire pizza oven was a sight to see at least once. The pizza crust was very good as I've seen on other reviews complaining about it they must have addressed the issues. The pizza is easily one of the best. The staff seems nice with the limited contact I had with them. The only problem is that the seating seems a little odd but the interior looked beautiful. I would definitely recommend trying.

Wonderful dinner specials and great Pizza!

We ordered the Grandma pizza. I found it to have a little too much stringy mozzarella cheese which was not only just stringy but it was so oily and tasteless. Also for the expense of it I expected the pie to be a large Sicilian. But no, it was a regular disappointing pizza.

Wanted to get a pizza and eat in. The people working reacted weirdly to this, like it was unheard of? The pizza was great, (hence the 3 stars) but the service wasn't. They sat us away from everyone (at a dirty table). We were given 1 glass of water each and never any refills. It was really disappointing overall.

Warm and welcoming the aroma smells like my home on a Sunday afternoon. Could not ask for a better staff the chef is to die for. Ask for the special menu. Sean will make sure your water glass is never empty and Linda will make sure your wine glass is never empty. My son has food allergies and they cater to my son's peanut and egg food allergy the best they can with the delicious Sicilian slice prices are great I think I don't usually look

great italian restaurant in Amityville NY

We just went here at 8:15 PM , and they told us they have no pizza left/already put everything away. They don’t close until 10 PM. To raimos, why don’t you respect your own business hours?? So unprofessional.

When you call for a pizza and ask well done and they tell you 30 minutes and deliver in 13 minutes with the cheese all over the box that is not Well Done. This happens all the Time. Francesco Pizza is the best. Will never order from here again
